Artum Presents: DJ Slimzee – A Legend Lands in Birmingham 🎧

Saturday 21st June – ARTUM

On Friday 20th September, Artum welcomes a true pioneer of the UK underground scene – the godfather of grime, DJ Slimzee.

A co-founder of Rinse FM and pirate radio royalty, Slimzee helped shape the sound of Grime and UKG in the early ‘90s, giving a platform to a new generation of MCs and producers long before the mainstream caught on. His iconic Sunday grime shows were the launchpad for countless now-household names.

With a golden disc for his role in Dizzee Rascal’s Boy in Da Corner and decades of influence behind the decks, this is a rare chance to catch a legend in an intimate setting – expect a heavy mix of grime, UKG, bass and beyond.
